Each year, the club holds elections for new officers and the old officers work to train them. The Club Handbook provides people with the knowledge needed to keep the club functioning and growing and is updated constantly. There are numerous organizations and rules that the club has to work with and comply with including but not limited to the Undergraduate Student Government, Campus Recreation, NIRSA, and Student Activities.
The executive board (eboard) works with alumni eboard and founders to hire a non-student coach that will best fit the team's needs. The coach is responsible for running practices, making the cuts at tryouts, deciding each week's roster, player positions, playing time, choosing the two team captains, making the team competitive, etc.
The executive board handles all scheduling and functional aspects, decides if a practice or game is canceled or not, and are responsible for informing players.
For players:
- There are practices 2 times a week
- All games are on weekends
- We have frequent team bonding events, team dinners, etc.
- The President will send out emails at least once a week regarding updates and games
- The group page on Facebook shows extra opportunities for members
- There are executive board meetings weekly that are optional for players, but it is heavily suggested that they come to get involved
- If a player misses a practice, they should email the club email why they missed it, otherwise the coach may see it as skipping
- The executive board works extremely hard to keep the club running for members and always appreciates feed back, suggestions, help, critique, and timely responses.
